Our Christmas Day

Like I said in the last post, we have our family Christmas a little early each year....
All ready to surprise our babies...

The girls begged for a Wii.  I was a little reluctant just because they already have iPods, but Graham found a refurbished one on Amazon and got it. The main reason they've wanted one is to play Disney Infinity.  I don't know much about it all, but Graham got it all squared away and they were beyond happy!!!

Edy made mention several times that she wanted a kid's guitar.  Graham said that he would teach her a little bit here and there.

Joy LOVES her Little People castle!
My traditional Christmas breakfast.

A friend of ours went to Castle Church in Wittenburg, Germany and brought Graham a copy of Luther's 95 Theses.  I had it framed and matted for his office.  I'd say that I nailed it! :)

I just had to!

I made a somewhat traditional dinner:  turkey, dressing, sweet potato casserole, corn casserole, green bean casserole, fruit salad, and more.  I've never made turkey and dressing and I was so pleased with how it all turned out.

I enjoy setting the table more than cooking! :)
We always have poppers at our Christmas dinner!  Lots and lots of fun!  The girls made about 15 toasts and they were very funny!

Y'all this has been a great Christmas season!  I hope you have a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

Our Christmas Eve!

We celebrate Christmas early so we can have the whole experience at home as a family.  Our Christmas Eve was Thursday night...

cookies and milk

so adorable.

Bible Reading

*Graham wanted me to photoshop those holes out of his socks.  I didn't have time to make edits on these pics!  :)

We also drove around and looked at Christmas lights.  I love these special moments we share as a family!

Gingerbread House 2014

Traditions, traditions!!  We love traditions.  One of our favorites is decorating a gingerbread house each year!  This year, we had a little more than a single house.  We decorated a train and a little village.  If I'm lying, I'm dying--I didn't help at all.  The girls were so proud of their work!

What are some of your favorite Christmas traditions?

The age old saying in blogland, I've been a terrible blogger, has rang so true for me lately.  I mentioned in a recent post that I started a humble photog businesss and the past two months have been crazy busy for me--in a good way.  I have been up to my eyeballs in edits and trying to get photos to customers.  I think I am on the downhill stretch for the holiday season and then things will probably calm down until spring.  Click HERE to view my photo blog and check out my recent work.

Here are some recent pics I took of my sister and bro-in-law.

Merry Christmas Home Tour | Living Room

Today I'm sharing my living room all decked out for Christmas...

Last year, I got this gorgeous flocked Christmas tree.  I LOVE IT!!!  This year, I added tartan plaid ribbon, a rustic star I reworked, and more rustic charm.

The stockings are hung...with care, I might add.
