WELCOME!!!!  After a few months "off" from participating in FIVE on FRIDAY...I'm back!  A little late...but back!

Although it's still hot...summer is winding down. 

We are SO busy and I like it, but I also miss leisurely days.

Random:  I LOVE Whataburger's Spicy Ketchup.  If I "happen" to grab a few too many, they always come home with me.  Is that stealing?

I mean...hysterical!!

I sure do "lower the boom" from time to time though!

Wedding Shenanigans & WYWW No. 12

Welcome to What You Wish Wednesday! Happy WED-nes-day!!!  Today, I WISH to share with you the lovely wedding we attended this weekend.  Some friends of ours joined in holy matrimony and it was and honor to play a small role in their special day... I handled the bouquets, boutonnieres, and a few other details for the happy couple's big day.  I was thrilled to serve them!

 Aren't these boutonnieres adorable?

 The hydrangeas, baby's breath, and burlap/lace ribbon were stunning together.

 Oh yeah...my sweeties were the flower girls and they did an awesome job!!

The wedding was outdoors and it was the perfect temp...in TEXAS...in AUGUST...Can you believe it!?

Graham officiated the ceremony, but lost the tie and cut loose afterwards. :)

I just love weddings!!  I'm happy for our friends and so excited to be able to watch as the Lord works in and through their marriage to grow them in godliness and point them and others to Him.

Catch-Up

I've been out of the loop and haven't posted my FIVE on FRIDAYs in a few weeks so I need to play catch-up. 
Here are a few updates:
[ONE]  Could JoJo be any cuter?  She's right smack dab in the middle of the adorable phase!

[TWO]  Big sisters have been dressing baby sis up!  

[THREE]  The other night, AG and Edy "made" dinner for Graham.  AG made a little menu and they pretended to be waitresses/hostesses.  I love how they love their daddy!

[FOUR]  Tomorrow I'm headed to Fort Worth for a Classical Conversation practicum.  I am so excited to start Cycle Three and tutor this year.

Mini-Vacay

This weekend, we went on a little mini-vacay to DFW.  The girls always love staying in a hotel and going out to eat a bunch!  We all do! Here are a few pics from our trip...

Fort Worth Zoo

Being the end of the school year, there were a lot of school kids at the zoo!  On the plus side, the weather was nice and most of the animals were out and about!

Friday, we went to Six Flags.  Every single teenager in the state of Texas got the memo to come that day.  Regardless, we had a blast and the lines weren't so bad. 

First thing after entering the park, the girls got their faces painted.  I swear the paint changed their personalities!!  They strutted around Six Flags like they owned the place!

Side note:  Edy kept referring to her face-paint as "paint-face".  By the end of the weekend that new term was concrete in our vocabulary.  So cute!

Their capes gave them an even greater confidence boost!   

When we got back to the hotel, Graham had bath-duty.  After baths, I glanced over to see both girls still sporting their "paint-face".  They have their daddy wrapped around their little fingers, don't they?

We had a wonderful time.  Thanks Aunt Ann and Aunt Dorothy for the memories!
