Five on Friday

[ONE]

First things first, I made the switch to Disqus.  I'm not sure if I love it, but I'm liking it enough for the time being.  One thing I like: all of my previous comments are saved and imported into my Disqus dashboard.  One thing I don't like: I can't click on 'non-registered users' names and connect to their blogs to check them out.  If you are a Disqus user, what are your thoughts?  Tips?

[TWO]

My two big girls are the sweetest friends.  I hope they always love each other like they do now.  I pray they open up their arms to Joy when she gets a little older and they form just as tight a bond with her as they have with one another.

[THREE]

Did y'all watch the Oscars?  I actually watched a lot of it this year.  Ellen was funny to me, but honestly, I couldn't care less about it all. I love movies, but all the hoopla just isn't my thing. I do love looking at the gorgeous dresses and jewelry!

I saw this graphic floating around FB.

[FOUR]

I'm a sucker for a good coffee.  Locally, we have the best little coffee truck.  Yep, you read that right--coffee truck!  And let me tell you, Starbucks doesn't have anything on Jacksonville Joe's.

[FIVE]

Did y'all see yesterday's post?  I made a big announcement...

I'm going to host a link party and I'm hoping to have it up and ready this Monday.  For the details, click HERE.  I hope you will join in on the fun.  This is just a trial run.  If it goes well, I might make an effort to have it up weekly.  We shall see.  I'm going into uncharted territory for this one.

Have a wonderful weekend and I hope to see y'all back over here on Monday to link-up your favorite party, party favors, decorations, play-dates, recipes, or party pics (past, present, or future ideas all welcome).

  1. Just noticed that Katharine Hepburn never showed up to accept her awards. And she won four times! Love the dress poster. :) That's why I watch or stay glued to people.com the next day.

  2. I love #2. I love the bond that my older two have and being an only child, it is something that I don't quite understand but totally see the Lord in their friendship. Its an amazing thing to witness. One huge advantage of homeschooling is that bond only grows :) happy friday!

  7. I love watching them, Tiffany. Yes, homeschooling does help the bond because they teach one another, play with one another...they are always together. We try so hard to cultivate good relationships between our kiddos. I hope they always stay close.
