This summer, my big girl took off to camp for a whole week.  It was hard on her momma and daddy, but she didn't skip a beat!

AG has decided she wants to go back year after year!  *YIKES!*

Soccer Camp

Our little Edy is a gifted soccer player.  She plays goalie for her team and it's so much fun to see her in action.

This summer, she went to a soccer camp...

The coaches are British and she loved their accents.  She got a good workout everyday and really refined her skills.  We are looking forward to another great season with The Swarm.

My middle girl, Edy, is a spunky, fun, energetic, beauty.  She's been growing like a weed, too.  

She has been losing teeth left and right and her lisp is ridiculously cute!

She's always ready for a photo op.

We've always called her "Ro" for short.  On Memorial Day, we passed by a car with her name on the plate.  How cool is that?!

American Heritage Girls

Back in the spring, the big girls joined American Heritage Girls.  Have you heard of it?  It's sort of like Girl Scouts but with a Christ-centered worldview.  Here's the mission statement:  American Heritage Girls is the premier national character development organization for girls ages 5-18 that embraces Christian values and encourages family involvement.

Since we joined late in the year,  the girls are really looking forward to next year when they will be able to attend family camp, overnight at the zoo, enjoy more crafts, attend cooking classes, etc.

burn baby burn

Last week, Edy was invited to a "Disco", rollerskating, birthday party. In case you were wondering, 1975 called and wants the rink back!  I promise you, the skating rink hasn't changed a bit since I was a kid and that includes every skating rink in the history of skating rinks!  They are all the same.  It's like jumping into a childhood time capsule.

I haven't been on skates in like 25 years and although I was a lot more cautious, I wasn't terrible!

Go skating with your family!  You'll have a blast!

Edy's Bday Recap

My middle baby is SIX!  Here's a little recap of her bday:

No big shindig this year, just a family party.

AG gave her a very special, thoughtful gift.  She took a picture of her and Edy, edited it, and printed it.  How sweet is that?

Happy Birthday to my sweet, spunky, friendly, happy, energetic, Edy Rose!  She's six today!  

Per usual, we went out on a little birthday photo shoot and she schooled me in the art of posing!  She loves the camera!
