A Little Bird Told Me...IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY

A few months ago, I nailed down the theme of my Joy's first birthday: A little bird told me...It's your birthday.  Each of my girls' first birthdays have been themed around the time of year they were born: summer, winter, and spring.  I had so much fun gathering items and preparing for her special day.

Y'all know I love a good party and Joy's first birthday was no exception!  We celebrated our baby girl's big day on Saturday with a good ole' family gathering.

You think Joy is a little vain giving out pics of herself as party favors!?  *truth: She has a pretty proud and doting momma!

If you live in the Tyler area and are looking for a place to get cakes, contact me!!! We have used the same place for every special occasion and she always exceeds our expectations!

 How adorable is this cake?

I used a lot of the decor from Joy's room for the party.

budget: $150.00
actual party cost: $115.00
cake: $60.00
snacks: $15.00
decor: $15.00
plates/napkins: $10.00
birthday outfit: gift from Gaga and Tat
favors: $15.00

Tomorrow is Joy's actual birthday-- more birthday and party posts to come!

Such a gorgeous party! And your hair looked great, by the way. My favorite shot is the one of you and Joy looking at each other.
