Five on Friday

After about a month break from Five on Friday, I'm glad to be back!
[ONE]
Monday was a SAD day around here...I ran out of my beloved Aromatique: The Smell of Christmas.  It's my absolute favorite smell.  all.year.long.

[TWO]
These are the kinds of love notes my husband leaves me...

The best part of waking up... is a fresh pot of coffee!

[THREE]
This week, I got the best deal!!!  I have been wanting a 7X10 rug for my living room.  I came across a beautiful rug at Target marked down from $159 to $79.  I was really happy with the clearance price so I snagged it. Low and behold, when I checked out, it rang up for $44! How awesome is that?  One day in the future, it will look nice on some hard, dark, floors!  A girl can dream!

    I LOVE it when I pick something up at Target and it rings up less than what it's marked! If I'm on the fence about something, I usually scan it to see if its marked down any more than the price sticker says, just to see if that makes a difference in my decision. Your rug is a major score!

    We do love them! They are a bit softer and warmer than traditional hardwood and easy to maintain! What's really incredible though is the fact that my hubby made it through the installation process- he was ready to throw in the towel and call a pro halfway through!

    Oh, my favorite scent is Gold by Thymes but I do like the Smell of Christmas during the holidays. Love the sweet note from your Hubby! And, the rug was quite the deal. Love little Joy's hair adornment! Too cute! Happy new week!

    Okay, Leslie, I think we need to be friends now. Just reading your "Welcome" blurb made me laugh- story of my LIFE judging/laughing at/swearing I would "never" do XYZ...then God in his hilarity puts that right in my path! We have two girls- one who just turned 1 and is tottering around much like it looks your is. I love that stage- so precious!
