Five on Friday

I'm happy to link-up with the girls for another 5 on Friday!

[ONE]
Sundays are obviously Graham's busiest day of the week.  His lunch waits on him along with a pot of freshly brewed coffee.  This past Sunday I didn't even set his lunch out until 2PM.  I'm not complaining--it comes with the job.  I enjoy our Sunday afternoon chats while he eats his late lunch.

You'd think it was spring here in East Texas.  The weather has been nice, but I'm still wanting it to be winter.  Cause, hello??? It's January!  Needless to say, this weather has been great for outdoor play.  My girls love driving their Gator around our yard.  I love watching them while they play.  I snapped these shots of them when they weren't looking.
Nice problem solving skills, girls!  They took turns pushing the truck to the shop for recharging!
[THREE]
Uh oh!  Looks like somebody is figuring things out!  I lowered her crib pronto!
[FOUR]
My sweet sister made me this gorgeous yarn garland.  I am love with it and the beautiful colors.  I hung it from a vintage mirror in my dining room.  Thanks, Kels.

After two years of pondering, researching, and pondering some more, I've finally jumped on the essential oil train! My doTerra oils arrived this week and I have been having a little fun trying out new "potions" as Graham calls them.  My essential oil guide book should arrive today and I'm looking forward to learning more about the oils and their purposes.  I'd love to connect (my blog goal for the year) with other "oil-ies".  Feel free to comment and let me know your thoughts.

Come back very, very soon because I'm getting a new look thanks to Aimee at Dear Harper!  We've been talking back and forth for about a week and she has really heard my requests and made them come to light.  I'm so excited to reveal the new look.  I'll keep you posted!

  1. We do have so much in common :)! I have been wanting to try essential oils for a while! You need to give a full report on your blog once you have tried them so I can get some ideas!!!

    1. Stasia, that's not a half-bad idea. I think I may do that once I've used them for a little bit.

  3. I just found you through the link-up. :) That garland is SO cute!! My son also has that Gator and he rides it around almost every day...so it was worth it. I've been spending a ton of time researching EO's too. I'm a little confused on the difference between DoTerra and Young Living because it seems like people are super passionate about one of the other. Your set looks awesome!

    1. Jen, glad you stopped by. I chose doTerra because that is the one that most of the people in my "circle" use. But, I know of some people that use and love YL. I think doTerra broke from YL a few years ago. One other thing, doTerra oils are the most injestable of the EO companies.
I'm headed over to check out your blog.

  4. You make beautiful babies:) I love the kiddo's jeep. My two year old got in one just like this at Academy Sports and screamed and hollered when he got him out. This will be next years Christmas for sure!

    1. Thanks so much. I'd reccommend that truck for sure. It was actually a gift from the grandparents.
