Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.
I Peter 1: 3-5
*We serve a RISEN Savior! every.single.day.
He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Matthew 28:6
*Yesterday, was such an incredible day. Here's what happened around here...
*We love to celebrate so we gave the girls a basket full of goodies!
*Each girl got a chocolate bunny as their lunchtime dessert. (I'll post more about that later)
*Funny statement by my hubby: "Are we the only parents that give their kids candy, but don't let them eat it?" He was referring to all of the candy they got (but didn't enjoy) from an egg hunt this past week.
*BTW, We let them eat the bunny!
*I taught the toddlers and though I hated to miss "big" church, I received such a blessing from these kiddos!
*You should hear these little voices scream, "He is risen! He's alive!" Be still my heart!
For as by a man came death, by a man has come the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ shall all be made alive. I Corinthians 15:21-22
This parent most definitely gave her kid tons of candy (in Easter eggs) that he will never get to eat! I did let him have 3 pieces on Easter which is way more than normal considering I haven't given him 1 piece since we got him. I snuck off with the Easter basket and emptied all of the eggs and then gave them back to him. I don't think he had a clue. ha!
