Okay...not gonna lie, I'm not a big fan of Easter decor--pastels, bunnies, etc. just aren't my thing. But I took the plunge and got a few little things for around the house to add a little Spring.
**By the way, how many of you feel like your house looks like crud since Pinterest came along?? my hand is raised...It sure does give me great inspiration, though!
This is a line from one of my favorite songs--Christ is Risen by Matt Maher (I embedded it at the end of the post...check it out!)
The two quail were Goodwill finds. They were brass and I sprayed them white. I put Spanish moss and some little eggs in the glass domes.
[another Goodwill find]
Welp, that's it...told you I didn't do much. But...it's already more than I've ever done! :)
I told you I would post Christ is Risen. Here it is--give it a listen. If you're like me, you can't sing/listen to this song without being overcome with joy and completely humbled...may even shed a few tears. Raise your hands in worship to our Risen Savior!
What color would you like for the throw, and do you think we can keep Edy from claiming it? I was thinking maybe a looser type of crochet (treble crochet with a big hook, maybe).
