Xmas in July
This year, we started a new tradition. We had a little Christmas in July fun.
There was little to no prep--I had an old pre-decorated tree up in the attic.
Before the festivities the next morning, we watched a little Christmas Vacation after the kids went to bed.

We had a summer take on a Christmas meal: Smoked sausage links, fresh veggies, and Toll House cookies.
We each exchanged a single, small gift and watched Christmas movies all day! It was good ole' family time--just what we needed!

Back to School
It's that time again! Time to get back in the swing of things--school, CC, fall activities.
AG and Edy both picked out new backpacks and lunch boxes.
I say this every year, but even homeschoolers need a back to school pic. Even though we go sporadically throughout the summer, we have an official "back to school" day!

AG is NINE!
My Ava Grace is NINE! I'm still in shock.
She's all about the store JUSTICE and she even likes make-up and all things girlie.
On her birthday, we had a big breakfast and early morning celebration.
Her party was held at Movie Studio Grill. She invited a few friends to see Pete's Dragon and enjoy a good lunch while they watched the show!
